REGISTERING FOR ONLINE ACCESS TO YOUR
CRA ACCOUNTS
If not yet registered, you can follow these steps for CRA online access.
Access will allow you to review filings, balances and limits.
Artax can be authorized at any time to assist in reassessment reviews.
Please follow these steps:
TO REGISTER for online access to your tax account

Go to this website: https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency.html
•Click “Sign in to a CRA account”
•Click “ Register for a CRA account”
Choose a registration option:
1.Sign-In Partner - using your bank login information to access your CRA account
2.CRA user ID and password - creating your own user name, password and security questions
Verify your identity, one of two ways:
1.Document verification - using your phone to submit a photo of yourself with a piece if ID
2.Security code - requesting a security code by mail, so will not be immediate access
Set up multi-factor authentication, one of two ways
1.Phone number - to receive verification codes
2.Grid passcode - to enter specific combinations from the grid for verification
If you have an HST number or any other related CRA business account, be sure to add that account to your CRA portal. Do this by signing into your CRA My Account, select “Add Account”, then “Business Number”, and input your 9 digit business number.
TO AUTHORIZE ARTAX on your tax accounts
•Login to your CRA account
•Click on “Profile” at the top left
•Scroll down to Authorized representatives and click “Add”
•Enter my business number 748967726 and Artax Inc.
